In June 2025 TCSS was notified by Colorado Parks & Wildlife of the provisional approval for our grant application for the work on the long distance range. The scope of work includes the installation of a new berm at 500-yards; improved vehicular access to all of the berms and an improvement to the access to the existing concrete shooting benches. The grant request was for a total of $77,100, which included $57,825 in fully reimbursable dollars. To receive the full reimbursable amount, we will provide $19,275 in matching/in-kind labor dollars. No work can begin until we have received a final approval which can take several months. This is great news, and a huge thank you to our grant coordinator Tom Beck for making all of this possible.
